Sofiane Tadjine

About

Known by the mononym Sofiane, he is a singer-songwriter who rose to fame competing on the reality show Star Academy in 2004. He would go on to release his debut album Comme je suis in 2007.

Before Fame

He began singing and writing songs early in his youth and would apply for Star Academy at the age of twenty-two. He was beaten on the show by Grégory Lemarchal.

Trivia

In 2011, he would reprise his reality career appearing on the second series of Les Anges de la télé-réalité.

Family Life

His father is Algerian and his mother is French. He was raised by his single mother and his father passed away in 2011.
