Sindhu Sriharsha

About

Indian-born cricketer who rose to fame as a member of the Karnataka women's cricket team. She later captained the United States women's national cricket team. She is a co-founder of Aspire Cricket, a coaching and mentorship program aimed at female cricketers. 

Before Fame

She began playing cricket on the streets outside her childhood home. Her neighbor at the time, former cricketer Smitha Harikrishna, recognized her talent and encouraged her to begin formal training in the sport.
