Sinéad Burke

About

Educator and activist who was born with Achlasia, the most common form of dwarfism. She's known for her position that fashion and overall design need to be more inclusive to those with disabilities. Her well-known TED Talk on the subject was titled "Why Design Should Include Everyone."

Before Fame

She began her career as primary school teacher and spent much of her twenties doing that. 

Trivia

She's also an ambassador for the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children and the Irish Girl Guides. She also co-founded the Inclusive Fashion and Design Collective (IFDC) with the US disability advocate Liz Jackson.

Family Life

She was raised in Ireland and has four siblings.
