While celebrating Bafana Bafana's victory in the African Confederations Cup, she witnessed her mother getting shot in the leg when one of the partiers fired his pistol into the air in celebration.

She is married to Matthew Stone, a fitness trainer from Port Elizabeth. She and her sister Denise were raised by their mother. Her full name is Siphesihle Ndaba. She was born in Ermelo in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa
