Japanese actor who rose to fame for his portrayal of Kenjiro Kanesue in the television drama series Kinpachi-sensei. In 2021, he starred in the mystery series Iribito. He has been the voice of Yugi Muto in numerous series and films in the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, such as Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters and Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: Pyramid of Light.

He became a trainee with Johnny & Associates when he was in junior high school.

Trivia

He won the Nikkan Sports Drama Grand Prix award in the Best Newcomer category for his performance in Kinpachi-sensei. His role in the drama series Soredemo, Ikite Yuku earned him the Japan Broadcast Film Arts Award for Best Supporting Actor.
