Sho Nakata

About

Professional baseball player known for playing with the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters team as an outfielder and first baseman. In 2013, he played for the Japanese National Baseball Team in the WBC series. 

Before Fame

While in high school, he played as a pitcher for Osaka Toin High School. He competed in the National High School Baseball Championship in 2006 where he earned more recognition for his playing. After graduation, he was drafted in the first pick to Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. 

Trivia

He was named the most valuable player of the 2016 Pacific League Climax Series. 

Family Life

He was born and raised in Hiroshima, Japan.
