Before Fame

He began his military career in 1980 when he enlisted in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. He was deployed to Iraq from 2009 to 2010 and flew 44 combat missions.

Trivia

On December 20, 2021, the House panel investigating the January 6, 2021 Capitol attack called for an interview with him. He declined the request.

Family Life

His wife is named Christy. They have two daughters.

Associated With

On January 6, 2021, he joined Missouri senator Josh Hawley in objecting to counting Pennsylvania's electoral votes in the 2020 presidential election.
