She began her career in the entertainment industry as a voice actress for radio.

She starred in Alfred Hitchcock's 1954 film Rear Window.  

Family Life

Her full name was Lillian Ann Herdan. She was the oldest of four children. She had been married to both Arthur Solomon and Milton Rosner.
