Before Fame

His career began in the 1980s while running religious programs on KGVL 1400 AM in Greenville, Texas.

Trivia

In August of 2005, D Magazine named him the best radio talk show host in the Dallas area. 

Family Life

He was born in Pleasant Grove, TX, a working-class neighborhood in Southeast Dallas. At a young age, he gained inspiration watching the acting of Adam West and James Garner.

Following the departure of the Howard Stern Show, he began working the morning show shift in 1997 at the KEGL radio station.
