Ross McCausland

About

Northern Irish professional soccer player who has represented the Northern Ireland national team. He has also played for the Rangers FC within the Scottish Premiership, and helped the club bring home the Scottish League Cup during the 2023-24 season.

Before Fame

He began his youth career in 2018 when he joined County Antrim. He later played for the Northern Irish side Linfield before joining the Rangers Academy in 2019. He made his official team debut in May 2022. 

Trivia

In 2024, he was nominated for the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year Award.

Family Life

His father Alan helped him train and perfect his physical fitness by putting him through drills on passing, crossing, and finishing.

Associated With

He earned his first-ever trophy in 2023 when Rangers teammate and club captain James Tavernier scored a goal in a match against Aberdeen within the Scottish League Cup.
