Rosie Scott

About

New Zealand-based author whose notable works of fiction include Feral City and Faith Singer. She also published an award-winning play, Say Thank You To The Lady, as well as a 1984 poetry collection entitled Flesh and Blood.

Before Fame

She earned her master's degree in English from Victoria University of Wellington. She published her debut novel, Glory Days, in 1988.

Trivia

She held a decade-long term as Chairwoman of the Australian Society of Authors.

Family Life

With her biologist husband, Danny Vendramini, she had two daughters.

Associated With

She and dancer Emma Watkins were both associated with the University of Technology, Sydney: Scott taught classes there, and Watkins once attended the school.
