Big and small screen actor most well known for his role as Padre Juancho in De que te quiero, te quiero. He has also had recurring roles in La vecina, The Three Sides of Ana, and La Piloto. 

Before Fame

He began studying acting in 1978 and would later graduate from Havana's National School of Dramatic Art in 1983.

Though primarily known for his small screen roles, he has also appeared in feature films like Mauricio's Diary and Life is to Whistle. 

Family Life

He is the father of actress Livia Brito and dancer Gertrudis Pestana.
