Robert Fyfe

Scottish TV actor known for his role of Howard on the British sitcom Last of the Summer Wine. He was on the show for 25 years, from 1985 to 2010. 

Before Fame

He was trained in theatre at the Northern Theatre School in Bradford, and graduated in 1954. He appeared in the York Mystery Plays in 1954.

Trivia

He also appeared in blockbuster films, including the 2006 film Babel and the 2012 film Cloud Atlas. 

Family Life

He was married to Diana Rush in 1957, who died in August 2021. He died of kidney disease in September 2021. They are survived by three sons Timothy, Nicholas and Dominic.
