Before Fame

He attended the University of Tennessee's Haslam College of Business, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance in 2008. He then earned a Master's degree in Accounting in 2009 from the same university. worked in various roles within the finance sector. He served as the CEO and founder of the Bitcoin consulting firm Parallax Digital from 2017 to 2020. He launched The What is Money? Show on YouTube in 2020 after being inspired to help others become educated on finance and money.

He is a co-author of the book Thank God for Bitcoin: The Creation, Corruption, and Redemption of Money. His work is heavily influenced by Austrian economics and the teachings of Jordan Peterson.
