Rick Nash

About

NHL winger who was named to his first All-Star game in 2004 as a member of the Columbus Blue Jackets. He was traded to the New York Rangers in 2012 and played there up until 2018 when he joined the Boston Bruins.

Before Fame

He played with the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League and was drafted first-overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2002.

Trivia

He helped Team Canada win gold at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

Family Life

He married Jessica Nash in 2013. His parents are Jamie and Liz Nash.

He and Alexander Ovechkin were both first overall picks who went on to win Rookie of the Year honors.
