Colombian politician and attorney who is recognized for having served as governor of Santander from 2012 to 2015. In 2018, he went on to become elected as a senator of the republic.

Before Fame

He began his career as a trainee in the Department of Foreign Investment and Services.

In 2014, he published a book titled The Son of War.

Family Life

He is the son of Hugo Aguilar who was a key player in bringing down the drug trafficker Pablo Escobar.
