British economist known for his work with the Trades Union Congress and Tax Justice Network. His policies are based on eliminating tax evasion and the damage that lost revenue does to the economy.

Before Fame

After studying economics and accounting at the University of Southampton, he further plied his trade at KPMG before becoming an accountant in Norfolk.

Trivia

He's written about economics for the Guardian and Forbes.com and has also taught as a professor at City University London.

Family Life

He has two children with his wife.

As many of his economic policies were adopted by Jeremy Corbyn in 2015, his ideas became known as Corbynomics.
