Singer-songwriter who composed the hit theme song for the film Ghostbusters. He has had many top forty solo hits, including "The Other Woman" and "I Still Can't Get Over Loving You." In 2006, he released his sixth solo studio album, I'm Free. 

Before Fame

He was discovered while playing at 20 Grand, a nightclub in Detroit. He played on 'Maybe Your Baby' by Stevie Wonder.

He was in Barry White's Love Unlimited Orchestra in the mid-1970s. He posts musical content on his rayparkerjr Instagram page, where he has amassed over 20,000 followers 

Family Life

He married Elaine in 1994 and had four sons together named Little Ray, Redman, Gibson, and Jericho.
