Venezuelan musician, singer-songwriter, and composer known for his albums De Repente, Una Casita Bella Para Ti, and Se Canta Venezolano. He plays the Venezuelan cuatro and is considered a major exponent of Venezuelan musical culture. He has been honored at the Latin Grammys and the Premios Pepsi Music Venezuela. 

Before Fame

He studied at the Juan José Landaeta National Conservatory of Music and the Simón Bolivar Conservatory of Music.

Trivia

In 2012, he served as a judge on the reality show Yo Sí Canto. He shares video clips on his pollobrito Instagram account, where he has earned more than 2 million followers.

Family Life

He was married to actress Ana María Simón from 2005 to 2017. He has six children.
