Pietro Radassao

About

Rock climber and trainer who has become famous for pioneering some of the most difficult routes in Italy. In 2017, he became the first person ever to successfully ascend the infamous "Iron Moon" route in Frosolone. He wrote a climbing guidebook called A Sud. 

Before Fame

At the age of 13, he became the first climber of his region to climb a route harder than 7c and at age 16, he became the first person in Southern Italy to climb routes harder than 8b+.

His Instagram account, which includes photos his ascents, training and daily life, has attracted 50,000 followers. 

Family Life

His father's name is Carmine, and he also is a climber and trainer. He was the first climber in his region, Molise.
