Actor who is known for his work in both film and television. He is also a director, writer, and producer on short films and in television as well. He is also recognized for founding and being the artistic director for FilmGym, a New York and Berlin based film production company. 

Before Fame

He studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York where he began directing and starring in award winning short films. His first major role in acting occurred in the 2002 series Edel & Starck. He earned further recognition in 2013 when he starred as the recurring character David Brenner in Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten. 

Trivia

In addition to acting and directing, he is also known for having worked an an animator on the 2013 documentary The United States of Autism. 

Family Life

He was born and raised in Berlin, Germany but later moved to New York City. He married Michelle Glick in August of 2008 and together they have a child.

He starred alongside Leonardo Nam in the 2002 science-fiction film Meridian.
