Director, producer, and writer known for his frequent collaborations with Christopher Miller, which include 21 and 22 Jump Street, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 1 and 2, and The Lego Movie.

Before Fame

He originally met Miller while both were attending Dartmouth. They then proceeded to work for Disney, where they conceived Clone High, which was eventually picked up by MTV.

Trivia

His television credits include How I Met Your Mother, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and The Last Man on Earth. He won a BAFTA Award for Best Animated Film.

He grew up in Miami and is of Cuban descent.
