Croatian professional tennis player who is known for her career-high singles ranking of world No. 14, achieved in January 2020. She has won two singles titles on the WTA Tour, one singles and one doubles tournament on the WTA Challenger Tour, plus four singles and five doubles titles on the ITF Circuit.

She attended and graduated from Trade school Split. 

Trivia

In April 2019, she was nominated for the WTA Player of the Month. That same year, she entered the top 30 for the first time in her career. 

Family Life

She is the daughter of Sandra Martić and Neno Martić. Her father died in a car accident when Petra was five.

In 2022, she beat world No. 5, Anett Kontaveit in Rome in the second round for her first top-5 victory since the 2019 French Open.
