Classical, Romantic, and Modern specialist and chamber musician. He recorded both Debussy and Schumann's complete solo piano music.

Before Fame

He was a student at Budapest's Franz Liszt Academy of Music and the winner of numerous piano competitions throughout the latter half of the 1950s.

Trivia

He accepted a position as Professor of Piano at the Yale School of Music in New Haven, Connecticut.

Family Life

His family was living in Hungary when he was born, but he chose to live in England, then in the United States.
