Peter Dean

Television actor who made a name for himself for his roles in British soap operas. From 1979 to 1980, he played Jeff Bateman in Coronation Street. He landed the role of Pete Beale in EastEnders in the mid-1980s and remained on the program until 1993.

He started taking drama lessons at the age of 14.

Trivia

He was offered his role on EastEnders by producer Julia Smith. After leaving the show, he worked as a security guard.
