She has designed prominent spaces within hospitality and cultural spaces such as the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona, Hotel II Sereno, Four Seasons Spa in Milan. She has had her collections featured in museums including MoMA, Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Stedelijk, and Triennale.

Before Fame

She studied architecture in Madrid before earning her degree under Achille Castiglioni in Milan in 1989. She worked as an assistant lecturer to Castiglioni and Eugenio Bettinelli and held notable roles at DePadova and Lissoni Associati.

She has accumulated numerous career accolades including the Spanish Gold Medal of Merit in Fine Arts, the Order of Isabella the Catholic, and the German Design Award. She has also been named Designer of the Year by multiple publications including Wallpaper, Elle Décor, and AD Spain.
