Turkish journalist and singer who writes for Hürriyet newspaper. She started her music career while she was still in university, and is known for her songs 'Tears Tell', 'Relationship Status Contradiction' and 'What To Tell You What'.

Before Fame

She graduated from Bogazici University in 1992 with a degree in english and philosophy. She went on to lecture at that university for a year. 

Trivia

She is the founder and president of HAÇİKO Association, a society for the protection of animals.  

Family Life

From 1991 to 1992, she was married to Soner Gedik. Together they had one child, Tayga Gedik.
