Omar Z Robles

Photographer best recognized for his shots of dancers on the streets of New York City. His works have been featured in publications such as The Huffington Post, The Daily Mail, Harper's Bazaar and many others. He shares his photos and tips for other photographers to his Omar Z. Robles account.

Before Fame

He was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He took gymnastics, ballet and studied to be a mime. At university, he began studying graphic design but shifted his interests to performance arts and photography. 

Trivia

He has lived in many places including Puerto Rico, Chicago, New York, Paris, and Warsaw. In 2021 he released a book titled In the Light of Day, We Dance. 

Family Life

His father was a doctor and his mother was a Spanish teacher. He married fashion designer Nambia Viera.
