Before Fame

He started playing the guitar at 14 and played his first pub gig at 16. He uploaded his first YouTube video in March 2016, a cover of "Riding to New York" by Passenger.

Family Life

His grandfather played in showbands, his mother plays the accordion, and his sister is a singer under the name RUE. In an interview with the Belfast telegraph in June 2021, he mentioned a girlfriend named Laura.

He was inspired to write original music after watching a documentary about Ryan McMullan. He won a competition to cover Paradise by Dermot Kennedy and won a signed guitar.
