She graduated from the liberal arts college Denison University in Granville, Ohio.

She has raised north of $2 million through her charitable fund The Nina West Foundation. In 2022, she appeared in Weird: The Al Yankovic Story.

She raised dogs named Edgar and Felicity in Columbus, Ohio.
