Nickel Ashmeade

Jamaican sprinter known for winning gold medals in the 4x100 relay at the 2013 and 2015 World Championships. He also won gold in the relay at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, as well as a bronze in the 100 meter.

Before Fame

He started competing as a runner while in high school, winning gold medals in the CARIFTA Games and silvers at the World Youth Championships.

Trivia

He's run the 100 meters in under 10 seconds and the 200 meters in under 20 seconds.

Family Life

He grew up in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
