Professional catcher that was drafted by the Miami Marlins during the fourth round of the 2018 Major League Draft. Prior to being drafted, he attended the University of Mississippi where he was named a member of the Second Team All-SEC as well as the SEC Tournament MVP in 2018.

Before Fame

He first began his professional career playing for the GCL Marlins. He was next promoted to the Batavia Muckdogs.

Trivia

He made his major league debut playing against the Pittsburgh Pirates on September 18, 2021. After a torrid start to his MLB career, he became the first player in Marlins history to hit a home run in three of his first five career games.

He lives along with his wife, Jessica, in Florida. He is a native of DeLand, Florida.
