Most well-known for bringing to life Scottish maiden Laoghaire MacKenzie on the hit television series Outlander. She would then join the cast of 2016's Victoria as Skerrett. She has appeared in over 60 episodes of television throughout her ongoing career

Before Fame

She earned a degree in acting from the Oxford School of Drama in 2012. She followed by making her screen debut in an episode of Holby City that same year.

Trivia

A singer-songwriter, she toured with Jools Holland in 2014. In 2022, she played Ruth in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Family Life

She has dated Will Taylor, the lead singer of the band Flyte.
