10 time grammy nominated jazz trumpeter, composer, and arranger who is well known for his work on the original Batman TV series. He played with many great touring bands throughout his career, most notably with Count Basie and Frank Sinatra.

Before Fame

He grew up in Nebraska, and when he was old enough he began surrounding himself with the North Omaha jazz scene.

Trivia

He wrote the original Batman title theme and won a Grammy for it.

He had a son and a daughter named Marguerite.
