Celebrated contemporary artist and media personality renowned around the world for his innovative approach to art and pop culture imagery utilizing unconventional materials such as food items, glitter, mud, toys, and more. He has created portraits of an extensive list of celebrities and pop culture icons and, in addition to being a semifinalist on Britain's Got Talent, he has also been featured on shows like Good Morning America, Sky Arts Landmark, and The Kelly Clarkson Show. 

Before Fame

He studied art as a child and at the Cardiff School of Art & Design. In 2010, he garnered widespread attention when he posted a video on YouTube in which he created a portrait, using Marmite on toast, of television personality and talent manager Simon Cowell. This led him to be featured on programs including Blue Peter, ITV News, and Sky Sports.

Trivia

He has published several books of his artwork, including Not that Kind of Art, POP tART, and 2020: Diary of Artist Nathan Wyburn. In 2012, his portrait of Rupert Murdoch, created from 5,000 individual images of the News International phone hacking scandal's alleged victims, was featured on the front page of The Guardian. 

Family Life

He is openly gay and has actively supported LGBTQ+ communities and mental health initiatives. Additionally, he has served as a patron for Cardiff & Vale Health Charity, Autism Puzzles Cymru, and Welsh Hearts. In 2019, he was named by Style of the City Magazine as one of the "Top 5 Welsh LGBTQ People."

His celebrity portraiture includes works of David Beckham, Tom Holland, and Idris Elba. He has named Andy Warhol, Chuck Close, and Vik Muniz as being some of his greatest artistic influences.
