Mortimer J. Adler

About

American philosopher known for his works in the Aristotelian and Thomistic traditions. He was an encyclopedist and an educator. He taught at Columbia University and the University of Chicago.

Before Fame

He attended Columbia University, where he contributed to a student-run magazine.
