Documentary filmmaker best known for his popular 2004 documentary Super Size Me, which exposes the health risks of eating too much McDonald's food. He also directed the documentaries POM Wonderful Presents: The Greatest Movie Ever Sold, Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope, and Where in the World Is Osama Bin Laden? 

Before Fame

He was a member of the Phi Gamma Lambda fraternity during his time at New York University. 

Trivia

He gained over 24 pounds during the 30-day period where he ate McDonald's three times each day. He passed away from cancer at the age of 53. 

Family Life

He first married Mary P. Sommer and later married Alexandra Jamieson on May 3, 2006. He had a son named Laken.

His success with documentaries led him to be compared to documentarian Michael Moore.
