Puerto Rican pop singer who rose to fame in 1995 for the debut album Sola. She then went on to release her followup albums Emociones, Amar es un Juego and Mis Mejores Exitos.

Before Fame

Her entertainment career began at fifteen when she became the host of the Puerto Rican television series La Ola Nueva.

Trivia

She and her future husband Oscar de la Hoya met after he requested she appear in one of his music videos for his burgeoning singing career. She went on to appear in his video "Para Que" and he in her video "En Cuerpo y Alma."

Family Life

She married renowned boxer Oscar de la Hoya. She and Oscar have two children, Oscar and Nina. She is also the granddaughter of legendary poet and political activist Juan Antonio Corretjer.

Associated With

Two of the singles on her debut album Sola were Spanish covers of the Selena songs "Where Did the Feeling Go?" and "Only Love."
