Celebrity chef who hosted Easy Entertaining with Michael Chiarello on the Food Network. He specialized in an Italian-influenced California cuisine. He owned both a tapas restaurant named Coqueta and an Italian restaurant named Bottega.

He attended Florida International University and the Culinary Institute of America.

Trivia

He was named by Food & Wine Magazine as the Chef of 1985. He died at the age of 61, after an allergic reaction.

He married Eileen Chiarello in 2003. He had four children.
