Actor who starred in television series such as Third Watch and ER. In 2019, he appeared in the Netflix original film Rim of the World. He worked with a variety of actors in several films such as Robert Duvall, James Earl Jones, Richard Gere, and Andy García.

Before Fame

He did a few high school plays he auditioned for and was accepted to. He graduated from the prestigious Juilliard School in New York, where he began as an actor in many off-Broadway productions.

Trivia

He is recognized for his role in Stargate Atlantis as Colonel Ellis. He is of Cape Verdean descent.

Family Life

He married actress Elisha Wilson-Beach.
