Played Jenny Schecter on Showtime's The L Word, which ran from 2004 to 2009. She also appeared in the 2001 film Not Another Teen Movie. She also co-starred in the film 30 Days of Night: Dark Days.

Before Fame

After employing a talent agent at age twelve, she began acting professionally at age fifteen. At the age of 15, she was casted a role in Love and Human remains.

Trivia

Her grandparents were both Holocaust survivors. In 2011, she voiced the title character in the National Film Board of Canada web documentary, Bear 71.

Family Life

Her parents are Etti and Sheldon Kirshner. She has a younger sister named Lauren who is a writer.
