She attended Lynn University in Florida. During her freshman year of college, she made the team pool for the Colombian Women's National team.

She played professionally in the Icelandic, American, and Colombian leagues. She suffered major injuries including an Achilles tear just four days before the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. She was an in-stadium host for the New York Red Bulls, a sideline reporter for Warner Bros. Discovery Sports, and a studio analyst for Apple TV+.
