She started taking karate lessons when she was 4 years old. Her dream has been to be in the Olympics ever since she watched the 2008 Opening Ceremony.

She has a dog named Meeko. In 2021, she won a bronze medal at the WKF World Championships. She won a gold medal in the 2016 and 2017 PKF Pan American Junior Championships. She has trained at VOLK Martial Arts School.
