Before Fame

She graduated with her B.A. in English literature from the University of Pennsylvania. She later earned her M.B.A. from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business.

She joined Bloomberg View in 2013 as a columnist. She later joined The Washington Post as an opinion columnist in 2018.
