Her first film role was in 1984's The Imposter. Her first television role was as Roxy in the series Ohara.

She played a lady from Oklahoma in the 1988 film Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. She was also in films like Rising Sun and La La Land. She portrayed a variety of characters on The Carol Burnett Show.
