Mexican politician, entrepreneur, and collector who served as Mayor of San Pedro Garza García and later as Senator for Nuevo León until August 2000. In 2022, he opened La Milarca, a museum in Monterrey designed as a replica of his home, to display his collection for public access. His passion for paleontology led to the discovery of the fossil bank in Vallecillo, Nuevo León, which is recognized as one of the world's most important fossils.
