About

American actor, director, and producer who rose to fame for his portrayal of Kendrick on The Paynes and Agent Julian on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He later went on to star as Kareem Richardson in the BET soap opera The Oval before portraying the role of O'Shon on the multi award-winning ABC mockumentary series Abbott Elementary. He has also appeared on popular series including Home Economics, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Based on a True Story. He has also performed with the world-famous Upright Citizens Brigade at the UCB Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.

Before Fame

He attended Temple University after graduating from Ballard High School in his hometown of Seattle, WA. He made his professional acting debut in the 2015 He made his professional acting debut portraying the role of Manny in the 2015 short comedy film Wishful Thinking, which he also directed and produced. 

Trivia

He starred in the music video for Jennifer Lopez's song "Can't Get Enough", from her ninth studio album, "This is Me... Now." He also appeared in Lopez's film This is Me... Now: A Love Story, which served as a visual companion to the album.

Family Life

He is the cousin of actress Tamala Jones, who starred on ABC's Castle.
