Matt Krook

About

Left-handed pitcher that was drafted by the San Francisco Giants during the fourth round of the 2016 Major League Draft. He was later acquired by the New York Yankees in December 2020. He has also pitched in the Tampa Bay Rays minor league system. 

Before Fame

Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at the University of Oregon. He played baseball with the Oregon Ducks for three seasons. 

Trivia

He recorded a career-low 2.89 earned run average during the 2021 minor league season. He also allowed an .175 opponent batting average. 

Family Life

He grew up living with his family in Hillsborough, California.
