Matas Buzelis

Lithuanian-American small forward who began his professional career with the NBA G League Ignite in 2023. He was selected to play for Team World in the 2022 Nike Hoops Summit. He began playing with the Chicago Bulls in 2024. 

Before Fame

He began his academic journey at Hinsdale Central High School, where he showcased his skills on their sophomore team during his freshman year. Later, he made a move to Brewster Academy, a renowned boarding school situated in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. 

Trivia

He also explored the possibility of playing college basketball for prominent institutions such as Kentucky, North Carolina, Florida State, and Wake Forest. His basketball fame has helped him accrue over 190,000 followers on Instagram. 

Family Life

He's from Chicago, Illinois. Before immigrating to the United States and establishing their home in the Chicago area, both of his parents had careers as professional basketball players in Lithuania.
