She began her professional tennis career in 2009 as a teenager. She competed in her first professional event at the 2009 French Open. 

Trivia

She won her first professional tennis title at the 2022 Grand Prix SAR La Princesse Lalla Meryem. She defeated Claire Liu in the event's championship.

Family Life

She is a native of Florence, Italy. Her older sister, Matteo, is also a professional tennis player.
